Beauty in the Process Editorial

Art Director | Photo

This editorial test aimed to explore the sensory relationship between art and its creator. What does it feel like to be in a creative process? To be interacting through your senses with the art supplies you use to create. Those little moments that only you, as the artist, experiences.

The feeling of crunching a stick of charcoal into a page’s surface, playing with dabs and splashes of colors, exploring the mountain of paint you squeezed onto the palette and finding inspiration in the shape of it’s ridges, washi tape peeling back to reveal a satisfyingly straight line, the sound of glitter falling like snow.
