Benny’s was my first website and photo project back in 2012, I visited his studio in Alameda, California and we spent an afternoon exploring and photographing his work. I listened to stories about the many prolific musicians he worked with and fixed their instruments on the fly while on tour. He let me hold the guitar of one of the most incredible singer songwriters in existence (I promised not to divulge details, but my Mom would be JEALOUS to say the least. She probably would have encouraged me to never wash my hands again.

This project was the start and one of the sweetest experiences I’ve had as a creative helping others to build brands. Benny and I keep in touch to this day and I am so proud that these images have stood the test of time.
